A Vanessa Bruno icon since its launch in 1998, the Cabas tote is redesigned each summer in a raffia version. Chic and functional, this design is handmade in Madagascar and has been produced in the same workshop for over twenty years. With a generous volume, this XL size design will be your best ally of the season for your beach trips, spontaneous weekends away and incredibly busy days.

This raffia accessory has been hand-woven in our workshop in Madagascar. Each design is unique and may have irregularities due to the natural character of the fibre and the handcrafting of the product.

Care instructions
Our raffia tote bags are handmade from natural, hand-crafted materials. They are therefore fragile and precious. To preserve the quality of your product over time, we suggest you store it in its bag, away from light and in a dry place, after each use. Avoid contact with water or sunscreen. Too much exposure to the sun could alter the natural color of your tote bag. In case of contact with water, dry your bag naturally and protect it with newspaper to absorb moisture. If your bag develops an unsightly crease, we advise you to apply steam at a distance from the product to reshape the natural fiber. For colored raffia bags, avoid rubbing with light-colored clothing, as the dyes are natural and do not set. Raffia is woven by hand in our workshop in Madagascar. Each piece is unique and may present irregularities in weave or color due to the natural character of the fiber and the handcrafted nature of the product.

Made in a Malagasy factory we’ve been working with for nearly 20 years, this essential is braided using palm leaves harvested and dried locally.
