Vacances en Provence
This summer, we whisk you away to a place close to Vanessa’s heart: la Provence, through a collaboration with Maison Souleiado and their legendary prints. "Aqui siam ben", a Provencal saying that captures the region's art-the-vivre and the laid-back spirit of your summer escape.
The first part of the "Vacances en Provence" collection takes us to the heart of the Provencal back country, a region that awakens every one of our senses. Life slows down, to the sound of the garrigue, lunches under the shade of pine trees and memories worthy of Marcel Pagnol's novels (2024 symbolizes the fiftieth anniversary of his death). From Saint Rémy de Provence to Arles, Malaucène and Tarascon, Vanessa and I explore a priceless cultural and artistic heritage.
"MAISON SOULEIADO (PRONOUNCED SOLEILLADE IN PROVENÇAL) HAS BEEN PART OF MY LIFE AND 'CREATIVE UNCONSCIOUS' SINCE MY EARLIEST CHILDHOOD. MY FATHER IS ORIGINALLY FROM NÎMES, AND I GREW UP WITH MY FAMILY IN PROVENCE, WHERE SOULEIADO PRINTS WERE PART OF THE LOCAL CULTURE."
The highlight of this collection is the encounter and collaboration with Maison "Souleiado" (which refers to a silver lining through a stormy sky. Souleiado is pronounced "soleillade" in Provencal). A return to her roots for Vanessa, marked by her exclusive collaboration with Souleiado, which is part of her personal history: Vanessa delves into the Maison's archives and revisits its exceptional colors, prints and patchworks for a summer wardrobe that's simple and easy, sharp and chic. Irresistible swimsuits make their entrance, while dresses go short, strapless, or long, fluid and second skin. It's all an invitation escape and embrace the freedom of summer, and an ode to Provencal “art de vivre”.
The second part of the collection takes us to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, through the enchanted banks of Camargue. Get ready for hot and elegant summer nights, strolling through shaded streets during the day, sexy as ever. The Cabas Tote becomes Raffia, Provencal and wonderful. Magic happens, and your vacation becomes one to remember.
